Η Ιερά Μητρόπολις Σουηδίας και πάσης Σκανδιναυΐας, μέσα στην χαρά της Αναστάσεως, ευχαρίστως ανακοινώνει στο ποίμνιο της Μητρός Εκκλησίας στην Σκανδιναυΐα, την ένταξη δύο νέων εθελοντών κληρικών στο δυναμικό της, προκειμένου να στηρίξουν και να ενισχύσουν το ιεραποστολικό και ποιμαντικό της έργο.
Η εθελοντική αυτή προσφορά αποτελεί φωτεινό παράδειγμα εκκλησιαστικού ήθους και έμπρακτης αγάπης προς τον συνάνθρωπο.
Σε έναν κόσμο που δοκιμάζεται από ποικίλες προκλήσεις, η ανιδιοτελής διακονία και η διάθεση προσφοράς αναδεικνύονται ως πολύτιμα στηρίγματα της αποστολής της Εκκλησίας.
Συγκεκριμένα, πρόκειται για τον Ουκρανικής καταγωγής Αιδεσιμολ. Πρεσβύτερο κ. Andrii Pinchuk, Εφημέριος της Ουκρανοφώνου Ενορίας του Αγίου Όλαβ, στην πόλη Telemark της Νορβηγίας, ο οποίος θα εξυπηρετήσει τις λειτουργικές και πνευματικές ανάγκες των Ουκρανοφώνων εμπερίστατων αδελφών μας σε ολόκληρο το Βασίλειο της Νορβηγίας, είναι δε για την συγκεκριμένη χώρα ο δεύτερος κατά σειρά εθελοντής Κληρικός, μετά τον Αιδεσιμολ. Πρωτοπρεσβύτερο Δρ. Maxime Lessage, τρίτος δε αριθμητικά, συνυπολογιζομένου του τακτικού Εφημερίου και Προϊσταμένου του Μητροπολιτικού Ναού Ευαγγελισμού της Θεοτόκου Όσλο, Αιδεσιμ. Πρεσβυτέρου κ. Γεωργίου Κανακάρη.
Ο δεύτερος εθελοντής Κληρικός, είναι ο Αιδεσιμολ. Πρωτοπρεσβύτερος Δρ. Χριστιανός Krister Tano, από το Luleå της Σουηδίας, ο οποίος είναι ιατρός και θεολόγος και έλαβε το Σάββατο του Λαζάρου τον πρώτο βαθμό της ιερωσύνης στον Καθεδρικό Ναό Αγίου Γεωργίου Στοκχόλμης από τον Θεοφιλ. Επίσκοπο Ελαίας κ. Βαρθολομαίο, ενώ την επομένη, Κυριακή των Βαΐων προχειρίστηκε από τον Ποιμενάρχη κ. Κλεόπα εις Πρεσβύτερον και έλαβε το οφφίκιον του Πρωτοπρεσβυτέρου, το δε Μεγάλο Σάββατο το πρωΐ, το της πνευματικής πατρότητος.
Ο εν λογω Κληρικός θα διακονήσει τις ανάγκες της νεοπαγούς Ενορίας του προσφάτως Αγιοκαταταγέντος στις Αγιολογικές δέλτους της Ορθοδόξου Εκκλησίας, Οσίου Τύχωνος του Αθωνίτου, στην πόλη Luleå, όπου για πρώτη φορά θα λειτουργήσει Ορθόδοξη παρουσία, τα θυρανοίξια δε της εν λόγω Ενορίας και την παρουσίαση του νέου αυτής Εφημερίου, θα τελέσει, με ευλογία και προτροπή του Σεβ. Μητροπολίτου Σουηδίας και πάσης Σκανδιναυΐας κ. Κλεόπα, ο Θεοφιλ. Επίσκοπος Ελαίας κ. Βαρθολομαίος, το Σάββατο, 25 Απριλίου 2026.
Οι εθελοντές κληρικοί δεν προσφέρουν απλώς τις υπηρεσίες τους, αλλά καταθέτουν την καρδιά και την πίστη τους, συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στην πνευματική ενδυνάμωση των πιστών και στην διάδοση του μηνύματος της αγάπης και της ελπίδος.
Η παρουσία τους ενισχύει το έργο της Ιεραποστολικής Μητροπόλεως του Οικουμενικού Θρόνου και υπενθυμίζει την σημασία της συνεργασίας και της ενότητος στο σώμα της Εκκλησίας.
Η Ιερά Μητρόπολις Σουηδίας εκφράζει τις θερμές της ευχαριστίες προς τους νέους αυτής συνεργάτες, καθώς και προς όλους τους εθελοντές που, με αυταπάρνηση και ζήλο, στηρίζουν καθημερινά το έργο της.

Ευχόμαστε, ο Θεός να ευλογεί και να καθοδηγεί τα βήματά τους, ώστε η πνευματική προσφορά τους να καρποφορεί, προς ωφέλεια των ανθρώπων και δόξα του Αγίου Ονόματός Του και ως παράδειγμα, ώστε και να ευρεθούν και άλλοι εργάτες του αμπελώνος του Κυρίου στον πλούσιο θερισμό της τοπικής μας Εκκλησίας.

Two New Clergymen Join the Holy Metropolis of Sweden
The Holy Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia is pleased to announce, in the radiant joy of the Resurrection, the addition of two new volunteer clergy members to its ecclesiastical body.
Their inclusion aims to further support and strengthen the Metropolis’ ongoing missionary and pastoral ministry across Scandinavia.
This voluntary offering stands as a luminous example of authentic ecclesiastical ethos and selfless love for one’s fellow human being.
In a world increasingly marked by complex challenges, such dedication to ministry and service constitutes a vital pillar in advancing the Church’s spiritual mission.
The first of the newly appointed clergy is the Reverend Presbyter Fr. Andrii Pinchuk, of Ukrainian origin, who serves as parish priest of the Ukrainian-speaking Parish of Saint Olav in Telemark, Norway.
Fr. Pinchuk will minister to the liturgical and spiritual needs of Ukrainian-speaking faithful throughout the Kingdom of Norway, particularly those facing hardship.
He becomes the second volunteer clergyman serving in Norway, following the Reverend Protopresbyter Dr. Maxime Lessage, and the third cleric overall when including the presiding priest of the Metropolitan Church of the Annunciation in Oslo, the Reverend Presbyter Fr. George Kanakaris.
The second volunteer clergyman is the Reverend Protopresbyter Dr. Christian Krister Tano, from Luleå, Sweden, a physician and theologian.
He was ordained to the Diaconate on Lazarus Saturday at the Saint George Cathedral of Stockholm by His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Elaia.
On the following day, Palm Sunday, he was ordained to the priesthood by His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia and elevated to the rank of Protopresbyter.
On Holy Saturday morning, he was further entrusted with the ministry of spiritual fatherhood.
Fr. Tano will serve the pastoral needs of the newly established Parish of the recently canonized Saint Tychon the Athonite in Luleå, marking the first organized Orthodox presence in the region.
The official inauguration of the parish “Thyranoixia,” along with the formal presentation of its new parish priest, will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, officiated by His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Elaia, with the blessing and encouragement of His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas.
Volunteer clergy offer far more than their services; they dedicate their hearts and faith, making a profound contribution to the spiritual edification of the faithful and to the proclamation of the Gospel message of love and hope.
Their presence significantly strengthens the missionary work of the Holy Metropolis under the Ecumenical Patriarchate and underscores the essential values of cooperation and unity within the life of the Church.
The Holy Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia expresses its sincere gratitude to these new collaborators, as well as to all volunteers who, with devotion and self-sacrifice, support its ministry on a daily basis.
