Λαμπρά ετελέσθησαν τα εγκαίνια του Ιερού Καθεδρικού Ναού της Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου Wood Green στο Βόρειο Λονδίνο, την Κυριακή 21 Μαΐου 2023.
Στον πανηγυρικό Εσπερινό χοροστάτησε ο Σεβασμιώτατος Αρχιεπίσκοπος Θυατείρων και Μεγάλης Βρεταννίας κ. Νικήτας, συγχοροστατούντων των Σεβεσμιωτάτων Μητροπολιτών Κολωνίας κ. Αθανασίου και Κιτίου κ. Νεκταρίου και των Θεοφιλεστάτων Επισκόπων Μελιτηνής κ. Μαξίμου και Κλαυδιουπόλεως κ. Ιακώβου.
Στην Τελετή των Εγκαινίων και την Θεία Λειτουργία παρέστησαν Άρχοντες του Οικουμενικού Θρόνου και πλήθος προσκυνητών της ευρύτερης περιοχής του Λονδίνου και άλλων πόλεων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.

The Inauguration of the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos Wood Green in North London was splendidly held on Sunday, May 21st.
In the festive Vespers, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, presided, accompanied by Metropolitans Athanasios of Colognia, Nektarios of Kition, and Bishops Maximos of Melitene and Iakovos of Klaudioupolis.
At the Inauguration Ceremony and the Divine Liturgy, Archons of the Ecumenical Throne and numerous pilgrims from the wider London area and other cities of the United Kingdom were present.
