Την Κυριακή της Πεντηκοστής, ο Σεβ. Αρχιεπίσκοπος Θυατείρων και Μεγάλης Βρεταννίας κ. Νικήτας προεξήρχε της Θείας Λειτουργίας στον Καθεδρικό Ι. Ναό της του Θεού Σοφίας Λονδίνου, με τη συμμετοχή εκατοντάδων πιστών.
Συλλειτούργησαν ο Πρωτοσύγκελλος της Ι. Αρχιεπισκοπής, Αρχιμ. κ. Νήφων Τσιμαλής, ο Αρχιμανδρίτης του Οικουμενικού Θρόνου και ιερατικώς Προϊστάμενος του Καθεδρικού κ. Θεωνάς Μπακάλης και ο Αρχιδιάκονος κ. Γεώργιος Τσουρούς.
Ο Εσπερινός της Πεντηκοστής ετελέσθη σε πολλές γλώσσες, αναδεικνύοντας με αυτό τον τρόπο την οικουμενικότητα της Ορθοδοξίας, η οποία απεικονίζεται γλαφυρά στην Καινή Διαθήκη την ημέρα της Πεντηκοστής.

On Sunday, 4th June 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas celebrated the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom with the attendance of hundreds of faithful.
The Liturgy was concelebrated by the V. Rev. Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Chancellor, and the V. Rev. Theonas Bakalis, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne and Cathedral Dean.
The Rev. Archdeacon Dr. George Tsourous also served assisted by a plethora of altar servers.
The Sacred Service was celebrated in various languages testifying to the universality of the Orthodox Faith, which was concretely demonstrated on the Great Day of Pentecost, as recorded in the New Testament.
A gracious celebratory reception followed in the Cathedral’s Crypt.

Χειροτονία Διακόνου από τον Αρχιεπίσκοπο Θυατείρων
Το Ψυχοσάββατο, 3 Ιουνίου 2023, ο Σεβ. Αρχιεπίσκοπος Θυατείρων και Μεγάλης Βρεταννίας κ. Νικήτας προεξήρχε της Θείας Λειτουργίας στον Ι. Ναό Αγ. Μαρίας Μαγδαληνής Hastings, όπου και ετέλεσε την εις Διάκονον Χειροτονία του κ. Alexander Gaman.
Μετά του Σεβασμιωτάτου συλλειτούργησαν ο Πρωτοσύγκελλος της Ι. Αρχιεπισκοπής Αρχιμ. κ. Νήφων Τσιμαλής, ο Πρωτοπρεσβύτερος κ. Iulian Petri Tohanenan, ο Οικονόμος κ. Ιερόθεος Γεωργίου, ιερατικώς Προϊστάμενος του Ναού, και ο Αρχιδιάκονος κ. Γεώργιος Τσουρούς.
Μετά την Χειροτονία ακολούθησε γεύμα όπου ο Σεβασμιώτατος είχε την ευκαιρία να συνομιλήσει με τους ενορίτες.
Alexander Gaman ordained to Holy Diaconate
On Saturday, 3rd June 2023, Alexander Gaman was ordained to Holy Diaconate at the Church of St Mary Magdalene Hastings.
His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas celebrated the Divine Liturgy. Among those concelebrating was the Very Revd Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Chancellor, Rev. Protopresbyter Iulian Petri Tohanenan, Oeconomos Hierotheos Georgiou, Priest-in-charge, and Archdeacon Dr Georgios Tsourous.
Following the ordination, a lunch was held, providing a warm and congenial setting where Archbishop Nikitas could interact and converse with the parishioners. This marked the finale of a truly memorable day, resounding with joy and hospitality, and signifying a significant milestone in the life of the Church.
