Indeed, He is risen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Heads and representatives of the Christian Churches in Turkey, we are delighted to address all the faithful, as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, once again Easter in the Eastern and Western Churches will not be celebrated on the same day, but, this year, with one week difference.\u00a0We pray that we will soon find the necessary resolution that will allow all Christians around the world to celebrate the most important feast of our faith on the same date. <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">A good opportunity for such an initiative may well be the upcoming 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea in 2025.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCome receive the light, from the unwaning light; and glorify Christ who has risen from the dead!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only yesterday, we were with Christ in the Upper Room at the Last Supper. Only yesterday, we were with Him in the garden of Gethsemane. Only yesterday, we were with our Lord on Golgotha. But today, we are drawn into His glorious resurrection, and we are inspired by a divine joy that fills our hearts. On this day of Pascha, we enter the doors of the Kingdom. We have become new men and women, renewed by the power of His infinite love. We should no longer be afraid! Let us become like Christ, since He has chosen to become like us. As Saint Paul wrote to the Ephesians: God \u201cmade us alive together with Christ \u2026 and God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms with Christ Jesus\u201d (Eph 2:5-6). In this spirit, we should remember at Easter why we are Christians, why we follow Christ, why we carry every day the cross of our lives, following the Lord who gave Himself up \u201cfor the life of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christ\u2019s mission on Earth started in the cave of Bethlehem and culminated in the empty tomb, in the bright reality of the Kingdom of God. The Resurrection stands at the crossroads of time and history. However, today the Holy places that witnessed these wondrous and divine events struggle to preserve and safeguard not only the monuments, but also the unique spirit of the Gospel in the birthplace of Christianity. Therefore, though we are filled with the joy of the resurrection, while \u201cremembering His saving passion and life giving cross, His&nbsp;three-day burial and resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, and the sitting at the right hand of God the Father, and His glorious and awesome second coming,\u201d we also remember, together with our brothers and sisters in Turkey, our fellow Christians in the Holy Land and pray for them all with fraternal love. As Saint Paul wrote: \u201cBut above all put on love, which is the bond of perfection\u201d (Col 3:14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, we received the Light of faith. We share this Light with a world that lives in constant fear. During these difficult times, we pray for peace all around the world. The Gospel of the resurrection is a message of hope, peace and \u201cperfect love,\u201d which \u201cdrives out fear\u201d (1 Jn 4:18). This salvific message is what also drives our strong desire for unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christ is Risen! O ger\u00e7ekten dirildi!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki Hristiyan Kiliseleri\u2019nin \u00f6nderleri ve temsilcileri olarak, Rabbimiz ve Kurtar\u0131c\u0131m\u0131z \u0130sa Mesih\u2019in Dirili\u015fi\u2019ni kutlarken, t\u00fcm inananlara hitap etmekten mutluluk duyuyoruz. Ne yaz\u0131k ki, Do\u011fu ve Bat\u0131 Kiliseleri\u2019nde bir kez daha Paskalya, ayn\u0131 g\u00fcn de\u011fil, bu y\u0131l bir hafta arayla kutlanacak. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131ndaki t\u00fcm Hristiyanlar\u0131n, inanc\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n en \u00f6nemli bayram\u0131n\u0131 ayn\u0131 tarihte kutlamas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayacak \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fc bir an \u00f6nce bulmak i\u00e7in dua ediyoruz. Yakla\u015fmakta olan 2025\u2019teki \u0130znik Birinci Ek\u00fcmenik Konsili\u2019nin 1700. y\u0131ld\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fc, b\u00f6yle bir giri\u015fim i\u00e7in iyi bir f\u0131rsat olabilir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGelin, s\u00f6nmeyen \u0131\u015f\u0131ktan \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131 al\u0131n ve \u00f6l\u00fcmden dirilen Mesih\u2019i y\u00fcceltin!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daha d\u00fcn, Yukar\u0131 Oda\u2019daki Son Ak\u015fam Yeme\u011fi\u2019nde Mesih\u2019le birlikteydik. Daha d\u00fcn, Onunla birlikte Getsemani bah\u00e7esindeydik. Daha d\u00fcn, Rabbimizle birlikte Golgota\u2019dayd\u0131k. Ama bug\u00fcn, O\u2019nun g\u00f6rkemli dirili\u015fi bizi i\u00e7ine \u00e7ekiyor ve y\u00fcreklerimizi dolduran ilahi bir sevin\u00e7le heyecanlan\u0131yoruz. Bu Passah g\u00fcn\u00fcnde, Krall\u0131\u011f\u0131n kap\u0131lar\u0131ndan i\u00e7eri giriyoruz. O\u2019nun sonsuz sevgisinin g\u00fcc\u00fcyle yenilenen yeni erkekler ve kad\u0131nlar olduk. Art\u0131k korkmam\u0131za gerek yok! Mesih gibi olal\u0131m, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc O bizim gibi olmay\u0131 se\u00e7ti. Aziz Pavlus\u2019un Efeslilere yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi: \u201c\u2026 bizi Mesih\u2019le birlikte ya\u015fama kavu\u015fturdu\u2026 Allah bizi Mesih \u0130sa\u2019da, Mesih\u2019le birlikte diriltip g\u00f6ksel yerlerde oturttu\u201d (Efesliler 2:5-6). Bu ruhla, Paskalya\u2019da neden Hristiyan oldu\u011fumuzu, neden Mesih\u2019i takip etti\u011fimizi, \u201cd\u00fcnyan\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131 u\u011fruna\u201d Kendini feda eden Rab\u2019bin ard\u0131ndan giderken neden her g\u00fcn hayatlar\u0131m\u0131zdaki \u00e7arm\u0131h\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 hat\u0131rlamal\u0131y\u0131z.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mesih\u2019in d\u00fcnyadaki g\u00f6revi Beytlehem\u2019deki ma\u011farada ba\u015flad\u0131 ve bo\u015f mezarda, Allah\u2019\u0131n Krall\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n parlak hakikatinde doru\u011fa ula\u015ft\u0131. Dirili\u015f, zaman\u0131n ve tarihin d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktas\u0131nda durur. Ancak bug\u00fcn, bu harika ve ilahi olaylara tan\u0131kl\u0131k eden Kutsal yerler, sadece an\u0131tlar\u0131 de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda Hristiyanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n do\u011fdu\u011fu yerde \u0130ncil\u2019in e\u015fsiz ruhunu korumak ve kollamak i\u00e7in m\u00fccadele etmektedir. Bu nedenle, \u201cO\u2019nun kurtaran sevgisini ve hayat veren \u00e7arm\u0131h\u0131n\u0131, g\u00f6m\u00fcl\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc ve \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc g\u00fcn \u00f6l\u00fcmden dirili\u015fini, g\u00f6\u011fe y\u00fckseli\u015fini ve Baba Allah\u2019\u0131n sa\u011f\u0131nda oturmas\u0131n\u0131\u201d hat\u0131rlayarak sevin\u00e7le dolarken, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki karde\u015f ve k\u0131z karde\u015flerimizle birlikte, Kutsal Topraklardaki Hristiyan karde\u015flerimizi de an\u0131yoruz ve onlar i\u00e7in karde\u015flik sevgisiyle dua ediyoruz. Dirili\u015f M\u00fcjdesi, umudun, bar\u0131\u015f\u0131n ve \u201ckorkuyu silip atan yetkin sevgi\u201dnin mesaj\u0131d\u0131r (1.
