Ο Πατριάρχης κήρυξε την έναρξη Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου στην Αττάλεια (Βίντεο)

Στην Αττάλεια αφίχθη το απόγευμα της Κυριακής, 14 Ιανουαρίου 2024, ο Οικουμενικός Πατριάρχης κ.κ. Βαρθολομαίος, τον οποίο υποδέχθηκε ο οικείος ποιμενάρχης, Σεβ. Μητροπολίτης Πισιδίας κ. Ιώβ. 

Ο Παναγιώτατος κήρυξε σήμερα, Δευτέρα, την έναρξη των εργασιών του Διεθνούς Επιστημονικού Συνεδρίου με θέμα «Ο Απόστολος Παύλος στην Αττάλεια. Μνήμη. Μαρτυρία», που διοργανώνει η Ιερά Μητρόπολη Πισιδίας.

Οι Πράξεις των Αποστόλων μαρτυρούν ότι ο Απόστολος Παύλος πέρασε από την Πισιδία και ότι κήρυξε στις αρχαίες πόλεις της Πέργης και της Αττάλειας. Το επιστημονικό αυτό συνέδριο αποβλέπει στη μελέτη της ιστορικής παρουσίας του Αποστόλου των Εθνών στην Αττάλεια και στον προσδιορισμό της μνήμης και της μαρτυρίας που άφησε εκεί στους επόμενους αιώνες.

The Holy Metropolis of Pisidia is organizing an International Scientific Conference under the High Patronage of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on January 15-17, 2024 on the theme “The Apostle Paul in Antalya. Memory. Testimony.”

The book of the Acts of the Apostles bears witness to the passage of the Apostle Paul in Pisidia as well as his preaching in the ancient cities of Perge and Attalia. This conference aims to study the historical presence of the Apostle of the Nations in Antalya and to identify the memory and the testimony he left there for the following centuries.
